Streamwalk
A morning spent in wellies exploring, playing in and finding out about a beautiful stream. The children have the opportunity to meet design challenges through making boats, to find out what lives in the stream and all about moving water. The children will almost certainly (and quite appropriately) get wet on this Learning Adventure, so wellies or old trainers, a towel and a complete change of clothes are essential. Children may also want to make things to sail or float down the stream prior to their Learning Adventure and this is fine with us. If you are happy with it, we like to let children have a paddle barefoot and experience the feel of cold fresh water on their toes. In the interests of safety we tailor the amount of paddling to suit the age group and the weather on the day.
